Russian soldier Sargent Vadim Shishimarin, 21, whom a Ukrainian court initially sentenced to life in prison, was resentenced to 15 years after he appealed his sentencing, which came after he pled guilty to war crimes charges in Kyiv, Ukraine, on Friday, July 29, 2022.
